Description
This Burr Elm Server started off life on the lathe. Where the bowl was turned, whilst trying to keep fingers well away from the spinning handle.
The outer shape was then carved and sanded to a fine finish and the whole was soaked in a food safe oil.
It was finished with an oil and beewax mix to give it a lustre.
Suitable for olives, nuts or sweets.
Alternatively just for trinkets.
Dimensions:
Roughly 24.5 cm length, 12.5 cm diameter and 5 cm high.
